Battersea Power Station is set to shine once again as The Light Festival returns from 23rd January to 23rd February 2025. This free, month-long event will transform the riverside neighbourhood into a glowing outdoor gallery, showcasing eight captivating light installations by renowned British and international artists, with several making their UK or London debut.
Visitors can look forward to a series of striking and interactive artworks, including:
- Aurora – A bespoke installation inspired by the Northern Lights, designed exclusively for Turbine Hall A by James Glancy Design.
- Spin Me a Yarn – A playful creation by Studio Vertigo, featuring a giant illuminated ball of yarn that reimagines everyday objects on a grand scale.
- Never Ends – An interactive piece by Luigi Console and Valentina Novembre, where a rideable horse on a spring activates surrounding lights, creating a fairytale atmosphere.
Beyond the artwork, there will be family-friendly workshops, live performances, and exclusive offers from nearby retailers, bars, and restaurants. Food lovers can enjoy special menus and seasonal treats from a variety of venues, making it the perfect setting for an evening out.
