Battersea Power Station is set to shine once again as The Light Festival returns from 23rd January to 23rd February 2025. This free, month-long event will transform the riverside neighbourhood into a glowing outdoor gallery, showcasing eight captivating light installations by renowned British and international artists, with several making their UK or London debut.

Visitors can look forward to a series of striking and interactive artworks, including:

  • Aurora – A bespoke installation inspired by the Northern Lights, designed exclusively for Turbine Hall A by James Glancy Design.
  • Spin Me a Yarn – A playful creation by Studio Vertigo, featuring a giant illuminated ball of yarn that reimagines everyday objects on a grand scale.
  • Never Ends – An interactive piece by Luigi Console and Valentina Novembre, where a rideable horse on a spring activates surrounding lights, creating a fairytale atmosphere.

Beyond the artwork, there will be family-friendly workshops, live performances, and exclusive offers from nearby retailers, bars, and restaurants. Food lovers can enjoy special menus and seasonal treats from a variety of venues, making it the perfect setting for an evening out.

The Light Festival runs daily from 8am to 11pm, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the displays. Whether you’re meeting friends, planning a date night, or looking for something different to do, this unique event is a highlight of the winter calendar.
