With Christmas coming up fast, that can only mean one thing: the ice rink is coming back to Battersea Power Station, and for 2024 it’s set to be more magical than ever.
The Glide team, this year in partnership with Boots, have created three incredible interlocking ice rinks, so there’s plenty of space to whoosh around, whatever your skating ability or age. And there are, as always, penguin skate aids for the littlest members of the family. No wonder Battersea is often referred to the as the coolest ice rink in London.
At the centre of the rinks is Battersea’s famous 30ft Christmas tree, and the whole festive extravaganza is set against the backdrop of the iconic Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station, which is completely lit up as the nights draw in.
If you’re looking for something fun to do in London this Christmas, whether you’re with the family, hanging out with friends or work colleagues, or on a date, book tickets for Glide at Battersea Power Station now. It’s open from 8 November 2024 to 5 January 2025.

Once you’re off the ice, there are plenty of other things to enjoy including the vintage-style fairground rides and the carousel, and the ever-popular Glass House is back for another year. It’s a cosy spot to chill out and relax with a hot chocolate or something stronger. Enjoy live music, quizzes, DJ sets and themed music nights over the winter period, while you snuggle under the twinkling fairy lights, watch the other skaters and enjoy the views. And if you’ve worked up an appetite with all that skating, there are also plenty of places to eat, both in the Power Station and the surrounding area. Check out the Arcade Food Hall, Poke House, Where the Pancakes Are and the Clean Kitchen Club. Or try the Roti King, Megan’s at the Power Station, Francesco Mazzei’s Fiume or Chef Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen.
