Pre-Booking Opens for Battersea Power Station's Chimney Lift

Battersea power station at dusk

Incredible views are guaranteed - what you'll pay for it isn't yet!

Lift 109, so called because it rises 109m above sea level is very likely to become one of London's "must do" attractions. Not only will vistors get to rise up the 109m in the chimney lift they will also get to visit the exhibition space in the Power Station's Turbine Hall - complete in its art deco glory. The lift itself is made of glass and ascends to the top of the north-west chimney for what are going to be incredible views of London's skyline (on good weather days!).

The lift takes up to 20 vistitors and is available for private events as well as to the public.

Ticket prices for the experience have not yet been confirmed - but we're sure that won't stop huge numbers of people pre-booking their spot for when it finally opens.

Visits are expected to last 45 minutes in total and will run from 10am to 8pm - we think going up at night to view London's night lights will be amazing.
